Placement Process Starts from the Very First Day of Admission!
Student Empowerment is a key feature of life at Sharda and is an integral part of the SSGI, T&P cell of Sharda seeks to identify the best industries and corporate houses across the globe for them. The Placement Team along with Student Placement Coordinators & Faculty Placement Coordinators work towards the same goal. The cell aspires to promote functional, both ways beneficial and long-term relationships within its corporate and industrial networks. The cell focuses on the training from the very first day, implemented by employment enhancement program, and aims to involve the potential employers and recruiters not only at the end of semester but throughout the year, in a variety of avenues such as Summer & Winter Internships, Guest Lectures, Live Projects, Final placements among others.
Some of the focused activities of T&P Cell at Sharda are:

The distinguished Sharda faculties in collaboration with BHU have developed an innovative and engaging curriculum in EEP (to learn about the current modes for developing their soft skills, aptitude and computer knowledge. With the help of multiple platforms provided at SSGI, we equip students for the corporate world.

SSGI in close collaboration with IITs and ESSCI provides various certification courses to upgrade their employability skills.
3.
The Training and Placement cell arranges expert speaker series, seminars and workshops in industry collaborations, which starts in the beginning of the session and will continue throughout the session.

SSGI nurtures a strong community of Alumni across the nation. You will go through continuous mentoring and networking advantages with Sharda alumni who are leaders in multiple industry segments.

Career counseling service which is being offered by faculty and trained professionals in different functional areas is a vital factor here. A formal and well planned structurally designed Personality Development Program, wherein vital soft skills are imbibed by trainers and corporate alike.

T&P Cell organizes regular sessions on Math’s/Quant, Reasoning, English, which provides exposure required in different corporate houses.

The Placement Team identifies the potential recruiters, interacts with selected companies and coordinates the visit of such corporate HRs for the campus Placement drives.

Projects are an integral part of the academic curriculum at SSGI. Both summer and live projects, in collaboration with corporate houses, provide a student with basic understanding of the corporate’s culture; this ultimately enhances the adaptability of students at large.

T&P cell makes it compulsory for all UG and PG students to undergo Summer Internship with corporate for a period of 8-12 weeks. The period of Summer Internship is normally from the beginning of May to the middle of June.

SSGI is one of the most preferred campuses for job placements by various corporate houses. The College has corporate linkages with various companies and such professional organizations which regularly conduct and undertake recruitment at the SSGI. Final placements of students are mainly based on individual student personality, his skills, knowledge, attitude, choice of job profiles, location etc. and industry environment & needs.

Recruitment Registration
All students participating in the Final interviews are required to register with the Training and Placement Cell.

Pre-Placement Presentation/Talks
The pre placement talks are a platform to provide a very valuable opportunity to our students to have a close communication with the corporate representative. With the help of this process, they know the company offerings and other related information including expected job profile, job locations, salary components and the probable career growth paths available. Companies present a short presentation, which is followed by the Q&A session of students.
