COURSE STRUCTURE
According to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the 2-year B.Ed. programme is designed around three major curricular areas. The curriculum emphasizes theory, pedagogy, practical teaching experience, and professional development to prepare effective school teachers.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- A Bachelor’s Degree (3-year or 4-year) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
- Candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in their qualifying degree.
- OR a Master’s Degree with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university is also accepted.
- Relaxation in minimum marks for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, PwD, EWS, and other reserved categories is provided as per the applicable Central or State Government rules.



ADMISSION PROCEDURE

- Apply for Admission
- Submit the application through the admission portal or process notified by the State Government, University, or the designated admission authority.

- Many states and universities conduct a B.Ed. Entrance Examination.
- Some institutions may admit candidates based on merit in the qualifying examination, depending on the admission policy of the concerned authority.
